Who We Are

Our History

In 1993, Philip Weston and Graham Allison established Weston Allison as a partnership of chartered building surveyors based in Northampton.  The practice offered property advice and technical services to clients across the industrial, retail and office sectors.

In 1996, John Wright founded JGP Associates to work alongside Weston Allison as it expanded its commercial activities and to develop the practice’s own historic building work.

These two practices merged to form Weston Allison Wright in 1999.

From offices in Northampton, London and Harrogate, Weston Allison Wright offers a broad range of professional services and expert advice to commercial and public sector clients, including asset and fund managers, investment houses, local authorities, developers and historic property owners across the UK.

Our Leadership Team

Weston Allison Wright employs a team of highly qualified and experienced chartered building surveyors and building professionals with wide experience and specialist technical expertise derived from a range of backgrounds.  We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Everything we do as a business is underpinned by the professional ethical standards of the RICS.  We will work with integrity, we are trustworthy and respectful and we will always strive to deliver the highest standards of service.

The practice is led by the three Directors.
