Outline of project

Conservation and repair of 14th century Grade II* listed church utilising a Lottery Fund grant to address significant structural and conservation issues in the belfry openings, tower staircase and external elevations. As the inspecting surveyor for St Peter’s church for the last 20 years, this project has been several years in the planning. The work involved assembling a specialist team of archaeologists and ecologists to complete the project research and to manage the church’s resident bat population.
